Revelation 21:4 — “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
It is always so good to be here on a Sabbath night with you. With the devil fighting, remember that when you’re always with Christ, you’re always winning. That’s all Jesus does—win, win, win.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. This is going to be our point tonight in this long-running series. “For the former things have passed away.”
So, ladies and gentlemen, I want to preach in your hearing and in God’s hearing, by the grace of God, “Heaven is the End of Sorrow,” or “Martyr Charlie Kirk, Martyr Daniqua Grace White, and the rest of us who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.” With yours truly being with you tonight, Daniel Whyte III, Revelation 21:4: “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away.”
Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, family, friends, and foes—and yes, even foes in the family, foes in the church, foes in the world, and now foes even in AI—however, I praise God and I thank God for all of my children who have been a help and a blessing to me in the ministry down through the years. I give God the glory, praise, and honor for them.
And so, ladies and gentlemen, Dr. Vance Havner is a fitting person to quote today. He is one of the most quoted preachers in history. One of the reasons why is because he was down to earth. And as the young people say, he kept it real. He said, “We are not citizens of this world trying to make our way to heaven. We are citizens of heaven making our way through this sin-cursed world.” In other words, we’re just passing through.
By way of a brief introduction and review, and then by the grace of God, we’ll wrap up this portion of the long-running series regarding heaven and the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk and the martyrdom of Daniqua Grace White. Thank you, Pico, for sharing this live. May God bless you.
Prayer
Holy Father God in heaven, I pray in the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Holy be Your name. With over 2,200 with us at this time, Lord, I pray salvation and spiritual, family and life, financial and material, protection and provision, mental and physical blessings upon each and every one.
And Holy Father God, we are indeed weak, but Thou art strong. And Lord, I pray that You would give us spiritual and mental and physical strength for the journey, especially over the next 60 days as I am under threat. My children are under threat as well. Lord, You know all about it. I commit it into Your hands.
And Holy Father God, I praise You and I thank You for Your mercy, Your love, and Your grace. I praise You and I thank You for Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Your Holy Spirit, and Your Holy Word. And Holy Father God, I pray that You will have mercy and grace upon all of my children and myself and all people who come to this church—all people in the thousands, saved and lost. Lord, for the forgiveness of sins, we pray for Your people.
For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive us, Lord, of our sins, our faults and our failures, all unrighteousness, all ungodliness of thought, word, and deed. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please forgive us, Lord, of our sins, our faults, and our failures, as we from our hearts, by Your grace, forgive those, Lord, who have sinned against us.
Deliver us, Lord, this morning—rather, yes, let’s see, early in the morning—deliver each and every one of us, Lord, from temptation, evil, and sin. Grant us, Lord, Your grace and Your strength and the power of Your Holy Spirit to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, and to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight.
And Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You will deliver us, Lord, from temptation, evil, and sin as Your saints. Grant us, Lord, Your grace, Your strength, Your unction, and Your anointing, and the power of Your Holy Spirit to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, to act right, and to do that which is pleasing in Your sight.
Deliver us, Lord, from temptation, evil, and sin. Grant us Your grace and the power of Your Holy Spirit to do Your will and Your work until we see You face to face.
We don’t understand it all, but Lord, we thank You for it all. And for Jesus Christ’s sake, I do pray that You will help all of us to humble ourselves, to pray, to seek Your face, and to turn from our wicked ways and to repent of our wicked sins and to give back to You our first love. And to follow You and to love You back and to fear You and to obey You and to be thankful to You for what You have done for each and every one of us.
But You said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Holy Father God, crucify our flesh and the old man within each and every one of us who know You, Lord Jesus Christ personally, by believing in You through Your shed blood on the cross for our sins—You were buried and rose on the third day. For us, You are the Lamb of God who has taken away the sin of the world. And Lord, I praise You and I thank You for that.
And You do not want us to continue in sin, practicing sin, lying to You, lying on You, taking Your name in vain, or any other sin, ungodliness, or unrighteousness, such as adultery, stealing, lying, dishonoring and disrespecting our parents, all sexual sins such as fornication, adultery, homosexuality, and all other sins and all other unrighteousness—as the Bible says, that should not even be named once where saints are involved.
So, Lord, I pray that You will break the band of wickedness, evil, and sin in our lives as Christian people. Fill us, Lord, afresh and anew with the fullness and the power of Your Holy Spirit. I pray the same for all of my children who I had the privilege of leading to You and all people in the household of faith.
And now, Holy Father God, I pray for Mrs. Marika White, whom the devil has chosen to plant as a Judas and a Jezebel, designed by the devil, used by the devil for over 38 years to try to hinder me in the ministry and to try to stop me. But, Lord, You cause—not only with me, but with others—a strange thing to happen when we have a Judas and a Jezebel in our lives. For some reason, the work expands and grows and explodes and goes even further than it would have gone. It’s amazing how persecution and Judas activity causes people who are born again and saved to do even more than they have ever imagined and were inclined to do.
So I don’t understand all of that, Lord, how You do that, but I give You the glory, praise, and honor for doing it because if Mrs. Marika White was not a Judas and a Jezebel all of these years, I doubt very seriously I would have preached the Gospel and the Word of God every day for over 10 years, going on 11 years now. And so Holy Father God, I give You the glory and the praise and the honor.
So with that said, I pray Holy Father God tonight once again for the true and pure salvation of Mrs. Marika White. For what I understand, our journey is almost over. And so, Holy Father God, I pray that You will cast the devil and the demons of hell and the satanic, demonic spirit of Judas, Jezebel, Sandballad, and Tobias out of her heart, her mind, her soul, and her spirit. I pray, Lord, that she will allow You to truly save and deliver her soul.
And so, Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, drive the devil and the demons of hell out of her heart, mind, soul, and spirit. And Lord, continue to give me and my children sweet victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil.
And Holy Father God, I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pardon me, Lord, and everybody. And Lord, I do pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, indeed. I pray, Lord, for the peace of Jerusalem. Tonight, we are in a total fix without You and living in sin against You—from the pastor’s house to the White House in gross sin—and so we are in gross trouble.
So Lord, I pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I pray for the salvation and the protection of the Israelites. I pray for the salvation and the protection of all other Gentiles—red, yellow, black, and white—for we are all precious in Your sight. I pray, Lord, Your protection upon the weakest Christian.
And Lord, I pray that You will bless us and protect us, protect us, Lord, from ourselves, our flesh, and the devil, and from the demons of hell, and from evil people in the family, evil people in the church, evil people in the world. And Lord, protect us from the thorns-in-the-flesh people, and protect us, Lord, from the messengers of Satan people. Please, through the blood of Jesus Christ, through Your holy word, give us sweet victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil.
And Lord, as we go into this communion Sunday, forgive us of our sins, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and deliver us all from all of our distresses and afflictions, tribulations, troubles, problems, and fears and anxieties. Lift all of our cares, sin burdens, worry burdens, care burdens, our Lord, from our hearts, minds, souls, and spirits. Fill us with Your peace that passes all understanding and Your joy unspeakable.
Lord, I pray for Bobby Williams, I pray for Logan, I pray for Ken, I pray for Butterfly, and I pray Lord for Sister Bliss, Deacon Moamp, Deacon Atkins, and everyone who comes on a regular basis. Lord, You know who they are. Thank You, Lord, for over 10,000 folks who come and who are followers of this ministry.
Now, Holy Father God, we pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that You would revive us again. Prepare us, Lord, for good days and bad days. Prepare us, Lord, for weddings and funerals. Prepare us, Lord, for celebrations and tribulations. Prepare us, Lord, for life and death.
And Holy Father God, thank You for good days and bad days. Thank You, Lord, for celebrations and tribulations. Thank You, Lord, for weddings and funerals. Thank You, Lord, for life and death as well. And Lord, we praise You and thank You for allowing things to be as well as they are, for they could be worse and should be worse because we deserve worse.
And Holy Father God, I praise You and thank You for bringing us a mighty long way down through the years. And Holy Father God, praise You and thank You for remembering mercy, loving grace, long-suffering, loving kindness, and patience upon such wretched people as we are. Forgive us of our sins, wash our sins away in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and make us to be whiter than snow on the inside. And deliver us, Lord, throughout this day from temptation, evil, and sin.
And Lord, prepare all of our hearts for communion here in a few hours. Those who will be taking communion with us at home, Lord, help them to get the elements together. They know what they are, and be ready to take communion with us in approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes at 7 o’clock early on a Sunday morning.
And Lord, I do pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, prepare us all in every way. And Lord, I pray that You will grant us Your grace, Your strength, and the power of Your Holy Spirit to love right, to live right, to think right, to do right, and to have everything we do and say to be done for Your glory, praise, and honor—for the glory, praise, and honor of Jesus Christ. And Lord, help us to help others as You have commanded us to do.

The Central Text
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” He’s already done it for Martyr Charlie Kirk. He’s already done it for Martyr Daniqua Grace. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain. For the former things are passed away.”
And Lord, we do praise You and we thank You for our dear sister, Sister Bliss, who You have raised up to be a great help in this church and ministry. And we give You the glory, praise, and honor for her.
Introduction and Review
And so, ladies and gentlemen, as we wrap up this long-running series within a series, by way of a short introduction and review, and then we’re going straight to the final point.
There are verses in the Bible that many saints have clung to for thousands of years—like a drowning man clings to a life preserver. This is one of them. Revelation 21:4 is perhaps the most beloved passage in all of Holy Scripture concerning the glory that awaits the redeemed. It has been read at 10,000 bedsides of the dying and gravesites, whispered into the ears of the grieving, and meditated on while sitting in a hospital room, and inscribed on more tombstones than probably any other verse. John 14 is a close second—or maybe a close first—and rightly so.
What Makes This Verse Extraordinary
Beloved, what makes this verse extraordinary is its method of definition. The Holy Spirit does not describe heaven primarily by cataloging what is there—the jasper walls, the golden streets, the gates of pearl. Those glories are real. Instead, He defines heaven by what is absent, which, by the way, is very unique. You will notice this uniqueness in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, because God’s thoughts are not our thoughts.
Heaven is not merely a better version of Earth.
And I have had this thought for several days now. Mrs. White has heard me down through the years and in recent weeks even more and more. I’m not talking to her; she’ll just hear me say, “God, I praise You and thank You for this. And God, I praise You and thank You for that.” And one of the things—believe it or not, the main thing I thank God for—is for giving me life and allowing me to live on earth.
Thankfulness for Life on Earth
I thank God through Jesus Christ, Sister Bliss, that I am going to heaven. But I thank God that I had the opportunity and the joy and the privilege of living on earth. I really do. And then one of the things inside that great big thank you that I thank God for and I still enjoy is what one great radio personality used to call “talent on loan from God.”
I’m just amazed at how God just gave people so much talent—talent, ability, aptitude. People who are good at what they do. For example, I praise the Lord for medics. Now, not because I used to be a medic in the Air Force—EMT types. That’s not my natural calling and natural gifts and ability. But I do believe that you have to be called to certain medical fields. You have to have a gift to do it. You have to have the kind of personality to do it, and you have to have the talent and the ability to do it. It’s not one of those jobs that anybody can do.
And while I was a medic, if you will, in the Air Force, I learned that there were some women who were nurses—and some men too, not as many as we have today—who should not be in the medical field. They were just in it for the money. Believe it or not, Mrs. White went to school for two years of her life to be a nurse, and she strangely dropped out—this was before we met. And financially speaking, if I had allowed her to work in the first place, which I would not have, so it worked out good that she did not finish. But if I was one of those husbands to let my wife work, we would have been sad. She would have been a full-time nurse. And I would have been full-time in the ministry, and so we would not have had some of the financial struggles we had. But God worked it out. Before she even met me, she got out in that field, and I’m glad she did because she shouldn’t be in that field. She does not have the personality, she doesn’t have the natural affection and love for people, and does not have the personality to make people feel welcome and all of that. She doesn’t. Don’t get mad at me.
See, some people—everybody can’t do everybody’s job. Everybody cannot be Michael Jordan. Everybody can’t be the great home run hitter in baseball. But I have been totally impressed watching all of my life, especially since I’ve been saved, how God has given people talent on loan from Him.
Gratitude for Gifted People
I have a great deal of respect for police officers. I believe they’re called. Have you ever seen some of these police officers? Not only are they called, they are built to be a police officer. They are prone to lift weights and get fit, and they just love it, even though it’s one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. They love it. They’re gung-ho for it. They get that adrenaline rush, buddy, and they’re ready to go. EMTs. Ambulance drivers. You got to have a heart for it. Everybody can’t do everything.
And I’m amazed at how God—in every city, in every county, in every state, in every country, in the church and outside of the church—God has called people and has wired people and has given people the talent to do things that others can’t do. And these same people who have talent over here can’t do what other people can do.
So I thank God for allowing me to live on this earth. I’m not one of these people that’s mad at being born, mad at living my life for 65 years. God has been very good to me, and God has blessed me with a great life. Yes, even in preacher poverty—rejoicing always and full of joy and peace. Even with a wife who is not encouraging. She’s never seen me down. She’s never seen me discouraged. I’m not one of these needy husbands who wants my wife to praise every step I make and do everything and applaud everything I do. I thank God I’m not wired that way because she has never done that.
The Blessing of Simple Things
And so, ladies and gentlemen, be thankful that God gave you life. Be thankful that God has blessed you to see the sun and to see the clouds and to see the mountains. And make sure you thank God for especially if He has allowed you to travel to different places around the world.
I thank God. I’ve been doing this all week. I’m not talking to you all about something I just thought of. I’ve been praying. I’ve been doing this all week. Maybe I’m dying soon. That’s okay. But my heart is full of gratitude for simple things.
My wife and I went out into the hot sun this past week a couple of times, and I said, “Isn’t it a blessing to be able to walk out into the hot sun and see the sun and see the beautiful blue sky? What a blessing. Isn’t it wonderful to get some fresh air?” Praise the Lord, Sister of Bliss. Sister of Bliss said amen to that. Glory be to God.
And I’m just grateful. I’m just thankful to God for allowing me to see the sun and to live and to move and to have my being here on earth. Even though I’m happy about going to heaven, I look forward to going to heaven based upon this passage.
No More Death, No More Pain
What is not going to be there? No more death. No more pain. No more soul pain. And if you really want to feel some pain, ladies and gentlemen, worse than your physical pain is soul pain because there’s no aspirin for it. There’s no medication for soul pain. And it’s not the physical pain that will have you curled up in a fetal position. It is the soul pain and the spiritual pain that will have you curled up in a fetal position, my beloved. Oh, yes, it will because there’s no morphine. If you take a pill, it’s going to probably be a sleeping pill because the sleeping pill will at least put you to sleep to not think about the thing that’s bothering you. But that thing is going to be there when you wake up. There’s no medication for spiritual and soul pain, my beloved. That’s why you need Jesus.
The Worst Kind of Pain
And since I have to be here in a few hours, I have a whole lot more to say. And maybe I’ll say it when I come back to church here in the morning, here in a few hours. If the Lord is coming and we live, I think this is a great segue right here.
Do you have spiritual pain? You may not have physical pain. But spiritual pain and soul pain is the worst kind of pain. And there’s only one doctor who can heal that.
The Great Physician
The great doctors—and I have a lot of respect for doctors, too. I really do. Thank God for the good doctors. Thank God for the good nurses. Thank God for the good techs, man. These people who come in, bless their hearts. These people who come in at seven at night—Lord have mercy. Don’t tell me I know about these people. Many of the nurses and many of the techs, they do 12-hour shifts. It works out good week-wise, but that’s a bugger. That’s a bugaboo. Every day, three days in a row, four days in a row, whatever it is. That’s something else, my dear friends. 12-hour shifts around some of the same people that you don’t even like and some of the honorary patients who are always thinking that they’re the only ones and all of this kind of thing. They have to deal. And so I thank God for doctors. I thank God for nurses, gifted nurses, gifted doctors, gifted techs. And some of the techs, they’re even better than some of the nurses. And they ought to be getting paid nurse money—practical nurse money. They carry out all of the work. And you got to care for people. You’ve got to have that talent on loan from God to love people and to care for people every day, all day. You can’t be a tech. You can’t be a nurse. You can’t be a doctor running away from people, trying to avoid people. It’s got to be in your heart because people can detect it at the bedside.
So anyway, if you have soul pain, I know the doctor who can heal it. If you have spiritual pain, mental pain, I know the doctor who can heal it. His name is Jesus. Do you know Him?
The Gospel Appeal
If you do not know Him, please, I beg you, I plead with you. For I am just a beggar telling other beggars where the bread is. I’m just a nobody telling everybody about somebody who can save anybody. If He can save me and give me peace for almost 50 years—I said save me and give me total peace for almost 50 years. Well, I don’t have soul pain. I don’t have spiritual pain. And the only time I’ve had spiritual pain and soul pain since I met the doctor Jesus Christ and the greatest lawyer in the history of the world—Jesus Christ too, He’s all that and more—the only time I’ve had soul pain and spiritual pain, Brother Mark, is when I have sinned against God. When I’ve sinned against Jesus Christ, because then He’ll start operating on that sin that’s in you.
Dr. Lou Baldwin said he has to go to the hospital for an operation. Well, we as Christians have to see the doctor, Jesus Christ, from time to time when we have created a problem in our souls and in our spirits, because some of you need an operation to take pornography out of your heart, mind, soul, and spirit and life.
See, that’s why that preacher—I don’t have to talk with him. See, it’s sad, it’s even sadder when you know the people. His father’s heart is broken beyond measure. And the other son he had, he didn’t do too well either. He’s in the paper still—by stealing people’s money in the church. Lord have mercy. Can you imagine what God is thinking of watching people steal money?
A Call to Repentance
And so, dear friends, I plead with you to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Is He tugging at your heart? Is He speaking to your heart? Do you feel some conviction about your sins—your drunkenness, your lies, your stealing, your meanness, your hatefulness? Now, dear friend, you say, “Well, I just can’t believe I have been divorced four times and I’m still complaining about my partners.” Ma’am, sir, have you ever thought that you are the problem? Because if you’ve been divorced three and four times, then I assure you that you’re the problem. And so if you want to stop being the problem and become the solution, and become a changed, transformed individual—the man, the doctor, the physician, the attorney who can do it is none other than Jesus Christ.
So truly believe in Him, really. Become a blessing to your spouse and to your family and to your neighbors and to your job mates. Be a blessing. Stop being a cursing. Stop being the person they dread to see. Always depressed. Always sad. Always disgusted. Always defeated. Always cussing under your breath. Frustrated. Angry, bitter, soul pain. Or you hide it good behind the makeup. You hide it good when you’re around other people. In fact, you may even be considered the life of the party. But you know that you’re dead on the inside.
The Sinner’s Prayer
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Jesus Christ said it first and best when He said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Understand, dear friend, that you are a wicked and evil sinner. You have violated God’s law, so you’re on death row. Number two, you will die, which is tragic. Every death is tragic because it didn’t have to be this way. As my mother even said when my dad died, she said, “Son, we messed up because this is not how it was supposed to be.”
But see, the thing about it is you’re dealing with the really real God. He’s real. He doesn’t play. He means what He says. The Bible says that the wages of sin is death. And God didn’t mince words. He said it, and that’s what’s happening. You’re going to die, and I’m going to die. And as you get closer to death, it’s going to shock and amaze you. And so God does not play games. We play games.
So believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Because after you die, you will go to hell to spend eternity. You will burn in hell forever as sure as I’m black and my last name is White. Look at me. I’m not joking. I’m not laughing because God is not laughing and God is not joking. See, God is angry with the wicked every day because they have chosen to sin against Him even though He gave them commandments for their good. They messed up their lives through sin, and God is not pleased with that.
So here’s your way out. Follow me in the sinner’s prayer. Repeat after me phrase by phrase and mean it from your heart, and my God will save your soul.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and now you shall be saved.

Repeat after me everybody. If you want to be saved, believe in your heart in Jesus Christ:
Holy Father God,
Have mercy and grace upon my soul.
Please forgive me of all of my sins.
As I now believe in You, Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe that You suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins.
Were buried and rose on the third day.
Lord Jesus Christ, please come into my heart and into my spirit
And truly save my soul from the burning hell and the lake of fire.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit.
And help me to repent of my sins.
Help me to change.
And help me to follow You in the newness of life.
In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake.

Jesus Christ said: “And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” Even though many evangelicals, charismatics, and Protestants try to act as if these words of Jesus Christ are not a reality in our modern Christianity—primarily because of the Satanic-driven prosperity gospel and an over-positive philosophy, which is a lie not based in reality or biblical truth—the words of Jesus Christ are true for every person who preaches the Gospel. The outcomes of the Gospel are a changed life and opposition from family, lukewarm Christians, Laodicean-Judas pastors and churches, the world, and the devil. This is a reality in our present evil world.
While Daniel Whyte III thoroughly enjoys his married life because he did not allow his wife to have her way at any point and was and is solidly and biblically the head of his household throughout the marriage—often quoting Joshua, “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord” “up in here!”—and because his wife never failed in the very important area of sex, which he got married for in the first place to avoid sinning against God, he has especially enjoyed the privilege and joy of raising his children in the Lord virtually by himself. He served the Lord with them every day of their lives, from the time they were born until they graduated from college, became adults, and moved on.
However, his wife, Meriqua Whyte—motivated by Satan, with a Pharaoh-style pride mixed with the well-known female Jamaican-style pride, stubbornness, rebelliousness, and witchcraft—has been his greatest Judas enemy in the world and has been what Paul spoke of: a “messenger of Satan” and a “thorn in the flesh.” Amazingly, and by the grace of God, that Satanic evil opposition has spurred Daniel Whyte III on to preach the Gospel probably more times than any man on record. God has honored him because he did not “hearken to the voice of his wife.” Whyte tells other Christian men to only hearken to the voice of God and Jesus Christ—not to their wives, as so many thousands of church men have been taught by pastors and other older men throughout the years. Remember, we are in this worldwide, multi-generational mess because Adam hearkened to the voice of his wife and not to the voice of God.
Before they were married, Daniel Whyte III told his wife Meriqua Whyte that they would not do family life as her parents did, because their married life was hellacious and ended in divorce, as did some of her other family members, including the aunt she was living with. He also told his wife they would not do family life as his parents did, because it was also hellacious and out of order since his mother was the head of the household, not his father. But thanks be to God, they never got a divorce. Whyte told his wife before they got married that they were going to do it God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6, or no way at all. And then he asked his wife, “Are you willing to do marriage God’s way according to Ephesians chapters 5 and 6?” And she said yes. Whyte told her before they got married that if she did not live up to her end of the deal, all bets were off.
Because Daniel Whyte III’s wife, Meriqua Whyte, was so proud, unsubmissive, stubborn, and rebellious after they got married, God led him to read Ephesians chapters 5 and 6 every day in their family devotions throughout their marriage. In the first year of their marriage, Daniel Whyte III also gave his wife a list of verses for women from the Word of God for her to read, which she still reads to this day. He also bought her many books to read to help her be the wife God wanted her to be.
Whyte realized early in the marriage that his wife was not a born-again, saved person even though she lied and said she was before they got married. After over 37 years of marriage, she is still not saved, never bearing any fruit of a saved person, to the point of not even wanting to tell her children, “I love you” and not wanting to hug them when they were little children, even after her husband told her to do so. She also hated the daily family devotions that her husband led and tried to hinder them. She also demonically hated and tried to hinder every Gospel preaching service to this very day.
However, only by the grace of God, they are still married, and despite the devil constantly working through his wife to try to hinder him from preaching the Word of God, he is still preaching the Gospel and the Word of God live and on-demand. Mrs. Meriqua Whyte, the Wife of Daniel Whyte III, Gave him the Best Father’s Day Gift Ever About 10 Years Ago When She Unexpectedly and Voluntarily Apologized for the First Time to Him and Their 7 Children for Not Being the Wife, Mother, and Christian Example of the Woman She Should Have Been Over the Past 37 Years of Marriage
Here is what Mrs. Meriqua Whyte wrote ten years ago after verbally apologizing to the entire family on Father’s Day, right before church service:
Over thirty years of marriage. Over thirty years of ups and downs. Over thirty years of trying to make our problems a personal thing between my husband and me. Thankfully, he did not allow me to do that and kept telling me it was between God and me—over thirty years of acting on my feelings and not on what the Bible says. Over thirty years of refusing to obey God’s simple command to a wife—to be obedient to your husband in all things. Over thirty years of disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty, all rooted in pride. Over thirty years of simply not choosing to mature as a Christian.
God has been dealing with me for over thirty years now about changing my attitude and behavior as a wife, which has manifested itself in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, dishonesty, having an ungodly attitude and spirit, and simply not being the wife, mother, or example of a Christian woman that I should have been throughout the years. (By the way, for those of you who may be thinking that my disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, lying, and dishonesty have resulted in adultery, I will say here that I have never committed any adultery or had sex with another man besides my husband, Daniel Whyte III, since I was born.)
God kept telling me I needed to stop my rebellious and stubborn behavior, apologize to my husband and children, and get my heart right with him, my husband, and my children. He sent others my way to tell me how to behave:
My husband, but I didn’t want to hear it from him
Other Christian women speakers
Other preachers
Books and other materials, but I would not take heed
I knew what to do, but I chose not to do it. The devil had me thinking and believing—as he is having a lot of wives and mothers think and believe—that your relationship with your husband and how you respond to him, whether positive or negative, will not affect your relationship with your children or your relationship with God. I say without hesitation that this is one of the devil’s lies, and sad to say, many wives and mothers are falling for this lie.
Another lie of the devil that Christian wives are falling for is that you can still have a strong relationship with God without being submissive to your husband. Lie! Lie! Lie! There is no truth to this. I know because I have experienced this and am still experiencing this as I am going through this breaking process, which is not happening overnight.
Even throughout my years of rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride, I still kept praying the prayer I used to pray daily before I got married: “Lord, make me be exactly what You want me to be. Lord, break, make, and mold me into what you want me to be.” Well, God took that prayer seriously, and once you accept Him, He will begin the breaking process. It’s up to us how long that breaking process will take. For me, sad to say, it has taken over 30 years, and the breaking is not complete. In what way is God breaking me down right now? Well, our children have grown up. The three oldest have gone through and are still going through college, have gotten their degrees, and some are working on their second, third, and fourth degrees, launching their careers and moving out. God slapped me into reality and truly intensified the breaking process. My husband told me before our first child was born and repeatedly while the children were young that my job was to love our children and make positive memories with them and that if I did that, I would have a wonderful relationship with them as adults in the time to come. Well, I disobeyed God and my husband, who did not let up on his duties. And he has a wonderful relationship with our children, even the girls, and I don’t. However, God led me to finally break the day before Father’s Day, and while I was helping my husband get dressed to preach, I asked him if I could apologize to him and the entire family. That’s the first time I ever did that on my own. Throughout the years, he has always told me that I needed to get my heart right with God, him, and my children; otherwise, I would never have the joy and peace of the Lord in my life. However, I kept on lying and denying that I was the problem.
Here is what I said to my husband and children on Saturday afternoon, June 17, 2017, the day before Father’s Day. My husband told the entire family that this was the best Father’s Day gift I have ever given to him:
“Daddy, children, I apologize for not being the wife, mother, and example of a Christian woman I should have been throughout the years. I have shown nothing but pride, disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and a bad attitude and spirit toward God and my husband in front of you. My disobedience and rebelliousness have caused much unnecessary unrest and upheaval in the family. As my husband told me, things could have gone much better if I had obeyed God’s word from the beginning. Please accept my apology, and I am asking you to forgive me.”
The diminishing of peace and joy in my life throughout the years I brought on myself. Not having a proper relationship with God, my husband, and my children, I brought on myself—all because I chose the disobedient route. My number one desire is to live a life of peace—peace with God, my husband, and my children. I have learned that peace will not come as long as I live in disobedience, rebelliousness, stubbornness, and pride.
I will end this with two notes: (1) Happy Father’s Day to my husband: you have been a great husband and father. (2) Happy Children’s Day to my children: You all have been great children. I have no complaints whatsoever against my husband and, of course, children; you have never been at fault. My bad behavior is all on me, and I’m sorry I put you through this. May God bless your lives, and I love you.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

The Gospel in a Nutshell
If you were to die today, where would you go: Heaven or Hell? If you’re not sure, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
Jesus Christ said the most important words ever spoken in the history of the world when He said, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

The Most Important Question in the World: Have You Been Twice Born?
This is the “Chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #447, titled, “The Big Question.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says: that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.
“Have You Been Born Again?”
The question is not, “Have you joined a church?” or “Are you trying to do your best?” or “Do you have religion?” but, “Are you twice-born?” Jesus Christ said in John 3:3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
We enter the physical world by birth. Spiritual life, likewise, is entered with a birth. We become members of a human family by birth; we become members of the family of God by birth, by being “born again.” There is no other way to get into the human family except by birth, and there is no other way to get into God’s family except by the new birth. Neither education, nor cultivation, nor reformation, nor “turning over a new leaf,” will accomplish this. What is needed is not a new “leaf” but a new “life”! “Ye must be born again” (John 3:7).
A New Nature Needed
By physical birth, we become partakers of human nature; by being born again, we become “partakers of the divine nature.” A Christian is the product of a divine “begetting.” The second birth is not an improvement of the old nature; it is the imparting of an entirely new nature. The old nature is hopelessly corrupt and incapable of ever being made fit for His presence. The new birth requires a creative act of the Holy Spirit. “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.”
Not “Trying” But “Trusting”
“Trying to follow Christ” is not Christianity. Christianity is not imitation of Christ; it is the indwelling of Christ. Christianity is not trying to do anything. It is trusting Christ, who has done it all! He has “finished the work,” and there is nothing left to do but simply to receive and trust Him. He shed His precious blood on the cross, and the work is all done once and forever! Cease trying and begin trusting! Believers will progressively become more and more like Christ, but by His power, not their own.
What Must I Do To Be Saved?
Simply “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible says in 1 John 5:1, “Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.” The Bible states in John 1:12-13, “As many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
You are born again, you become a Christian by trusting a Person—receiving a Person. The very moment you do this, the Lord Jesus Christ comes in and life begins!
What Is Meant By “Believe”?
To “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” means more than simply believing the historic facts concerning Him. Intellectual belief about Christ is not sufficient. The belief that brings salvation must be “with the heart,” that is, with the whole being. This belief also includes repentance: “Repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” The Bible states in Acts 17:30, “God… now commandeth all men everywhere to repent.”
The faith which saves, then, includes the necessity to repent and to receive Christ as Savior and Lord, to rest upon Him alone for salvation. It means to trust Him so utterly and completely that, if He should fail, there would be no hope at all!
May I Know That I Am Born Again?
This is an important question. We know that we are born again by the testimony of God’s Word. God says in John 5:24, “He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ as explained by God’s Word? If so, then you are saved, you are “born again,” you have “passed from death unto life.” God says so! Take God at His Word, and go on your way rejoicing!
One Final Word
You may “belong to a church,” you may be “trying to do the best you can,” you may be “striving to live right.” Your outward life may be the model of moral correctness, and you may be looked up to, honored, revered, and respected. Yet, if you have not been “born again,” you are just as lost as if you had never heard of Christ. Yes, you may teach in the Sunday school, read the Bible, sing, shout, “feel happy,” and all the rest—but if you have never been “born again,” you are still in your sins and a stranger to the Lord Jesus Christ.
If you want to be saved from the wrath to come and from an eternity in Hell, and if you believe that Jesus Christ suffered, bled, and died on the cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again from the dead, and you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer:
Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
